Description: A rare pair of large mugs in the Saara pattern made in Finland at Arabia, designed by Anja Jaatinen Winquist in the early 1970s. Such a bold and beautiful pattern! These easily hold 12 oz. of beverage. The small teacups and coffee cups in this pattern are relatively easy to find but these mugs are hard to come by. A search online showed that several have sold on Etsy for $100 a piece. This pair is in good condition – no chips, cracks, or crazing. Overall wear on the glossy exterior is evident when examined closely.
