Description: ARABIA OF FINLAND PARATIISI 1 Dinner Plate (10”) 1 Teacup and Saucer Set Excellent condition! Production of Birger Kaipiainen’s masterpiece Paratiisi (Paradise) began in 1969. The series is a true Arabia design classic. The colorful decoration features a rich design print of fruits, violets, and blackcurrants. The colors are very vibrant and fresh. The teacup is from the first years of production in 1969-1970. One can see that from the Arabia little crown stamp. Note: on the underside of the saucer there are stilt marks in a triangular pattern because the saucer was suspended on stilts during firing. These marks are typical for ceramic items of this age and type. They are not a quality issue.
