This item is a signed, hand painted piece. There are no nicks or chips There are no signs of wear on this highly reflective glaze. On the back there is a small mark that I suspect is a result of the firing process since this mark is also present on matching pieces I have. If you are a collector of this pattern, this is a great piece.
