Description: Vintage Arabia Finland She-fo Blue Bird Demitasse Cup Saucer Blue White She Foo. Circa 1926 – 1937. Artist Greta-Lisa Jäderholm-Snellman worked as a ceramic artist for Arabia from 1921 to 1937, and she is considered to be the creator of decorative painting at Arabia. Her designs provided Arabia’s tableware with restrained, geometric patterns with echoes of 1920s classicism and art deco. The She-Fo mug is adorned with a cheerful floral design in royal blue, with the small flowers spilling into the inside of the mug. Marked with brown “pipe stamp”. The mark signifies Arabia’s new, at that time the world’s largest, 122 meters long, tunnel kilns. Price is for one set of cup and saucer.
